The Fix Placer
Traffic Coalition includes Placer County community leaders, citizens, and transportation experts who are frustrated by gridlock and want to
do something to solve our congestion crisis!
With local population, jobs, and housing all projected to nearly double over the next 20 years, we know that the traffic situation in Placer County is only going to get worse.
Funding for transportation projects is quickly drying up, and the few major projects being built today in Placer are a result of borrowing against future shares of state transportation funding. Those funds will be spent soon, and with local growth set to outpace our share of State and Federal funds for transportation, Placer will be left with little means to fund remaining critical projects.
This website is dedicated to provding information on the transpotation issues facing Placer area residents and the projects that are needed to improve the local transportation system.
